Let’s say it’s exercise.

You pick a time to do it and even buy the equipment you need. You feel amazing for two weeks when you start doing it.

Then you go on a trip for a week - when you come back you have to catch up on work and end up working through your usual workout time.

A month later, you realize you haven’t exercised since you got back.

You really care about your health, and you know you feel better, show up better in your relationships, and do better in the world when you take care of yourself.

But when it comes down to it, your health isn’t the ONLY thing you have to prioritize, and all those other demands tend to come first - leaving you exhausted and unsatisfied.

Unlike the unrealistic and generic wellness influencer advice you’re used to, in the Chaotic Wellness Collective, you actually learn when and why specific healthy habits might be good for you, and then have space to workshop your version of the habit, so you can actually start implementing it right away - and we check in monthly to make any tweaks you might need.

Here’s How It Works

Every month we choose a theme

(think meal planning, nighttime routine, hydration, etc.) that we get to explore in depth.

Each meeting starts with the facts

You’ll get evidence based, body neutral information about the theme, so you can make an informed and intrinsically motivated choice about how to incorporate it into your own life.

Then, you get to share

how you’re doing with this theme, and ask for support from the group, leaving you inspired, encouraged, and ready to take action.

And if you’re a little shy, don’t worry - you can submit questions ahead of time - I’ll read them out for you, add my two cents, and allow the group to chime in.

Hi, I’m Dr. Arlie

I’m a naturopathic doctor, healthy habit strategist, and dessert person. I’m on a mission to help people who feel out of place in wellness spaces create your own version of a happy healthy life.

Between helping a huge variety of patients choose and implement the most important healthy behaviours for their individual needs, managing my own chronic health condition, and navigating my neurospicy household’s unique needs, I have a lot of experience troubleshooting healthy living.

I figured it was about time that everyone had access to evidence-based, body-neutral information and support to live their best lives.

So I created The Chaotic Wellness Collective

  • I know you have a lot of demands on your time. I also know that you know that you can’t pour from an empty cup. Wouldn’t it be nicer to take some of the mental work off your plate and let a lovely encouraging community who knows that you deserve at least a little time to care for yourself to help you make that happen? And if you’re still worried about it, remember that every single theme we discuss can be modified to suit your life - so if something is important to you, do you think you can take 5 minutes per day to start incorporating it into your life?

  • When you initially sign up, we have a minimum membership length of 3 months. Research shows it takes more than 2 months to make a habit - so we want to be there for you while you make and establish the routines that are most important to you. Once you’re part of the community, you can join one month at a time.

  • You can indeed join anytime, BUT don’t you think that the times when you’re struggling to prioritize yourself might be the times when you need support the most? Just some food for thought 💚

  • I hear you! You are actually the reason I created this group. Because generic advice about healthy habits isn’t going to work for you - you need highly flexible routines. That’s why we think outside the box in The Chaotic Wellness Collective - because you CAN consistently care for yourself, if you’re given the right tools.

  • We choose the theme for each month with participant input, so I can’t guarantee the themes for the next 3 months. I can tell you that we explore a theme related to nutrition, physical activity, or sleep every 3 months, and that other themes we’re looking forward to include hydration, stress management, and spending time in nature.

  • YES - and you’ll probably get more out of it the longer you stay. You can sign up for up to 12 months at a time if you want to commit to yourself for the whole year.
